Yummu Fruit Smoothie

"My parents have always been seperated- at least as long as I can remember. And being raised by a single mother, I haven't had many great memories of my dad except the summer he took us to the beach in Pensacola (we lived in Chicago) and he took us to a smoothie shop. I had never had one in my life before that day and it was really good. Now that my father has passed, this is one of the good memories I have of him, and think of him while I enjoy these low fat, healthy smoothies."

  1. Nice smoothie. I made it as described though I found that I had to add some splenda because it was much too tart for me as is. This was a thin smoothie, but nice and a pretty pink color from the strawberries. I know that, for work reasons, I will miss lunch today so I paired this with some lovely oatmeal for a nice hearty breakfast. Thanks!
