These were great! The whole family including my two year old loved them. I did make a few changes. I was afraid they were going to be to heavy with 100% whole wheat (especially because I grind my own and it's heavier than store bought wheat flour). So I did 2 1/2 c. ww and 1 c. white flour. I also separated the eggs and whipped the whites, then folded it into the batter to fluff them up. They were light and fluffy, and I expected to hit crunches of the oats but you didn't notice them at all. This is great and my mom loved them enough she asked me to write down the recipe for her. My husband who is a die hard krusties mix fan even liked them

This was very good. I cut this recipe in half because it was just my son and I. I also substituted orange juice for the vegetable oil. I served it with a homemade strawberry syrup I whipped up in my blender. My son ate 2 large waffles. I got 7 large waffles from 1/2 the recipe. I will be mixing up the dry ingredients ahead of time and storing in the freezer for a convenient mix. Thanks for the recipe!
