Please....I can't believe some people are taking this so seriously. It's just a joke!! Nobody is really serving thier children stale bread and warm water. There are certainly people in this world I would not want to be at a party with!
When I first read it I thought the recipe was "Tasteless". I stand corrected the recipe left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least!
If you look at the title, "Your Kids Time Out Lunch," that should indicate that this would be a meal fit for misbehaving kids. LOL! Were there any times that you have sent a child to bed without supper?! Perhaps your parents sent you to bed without any supper or you got up from the table in a fit and didn't eat any supper! I know a lot of times I may take life too seriously and my husband is telling me, "Take life a little easier..." Smile more! The world is so much more attractive when people are smiling! (I doubt if any of us would really feed our children bread and water, but aren't there times when you're tempted to?!) :)
this was sooooo !!!!!!!!!!!! funny, my son said "get real mom" shapeweaver
I'm sorry I misunderstood this recipe. I apologise.
This is funny. My step-son would laugh in my face though and love every moment of his punishment. He loves water and bread which is usually homeade in our house and sometimes warmed. He even likes whole wheat now. He also feels sorry for other kids that dont have that much already and would give up his bread. Now do you have any brussel sprouts on a tray?
Funny! Funny! Funny! As for some o' y'all who didn't get it, if you were to take a lump of coal and...
Just woundering is this a joke ? ~ POKER ~
The stale bland bread and the plain, tasteless water were the perfect blend of flavors to go with my child's tantrum! Thanks for the great recipe! :-)
I think this is so funny! I can't believe some people wouldn't think of it as a joke! Good one Blayke! I am wondering, were your kids giving you a hard time that day? My son is pretty great, but he too has his moments and as soon as he's old enough to get it (he's not 18 months yet) I'll serve it to him. :) Thanks for the laugh!
