I liked this recipe, but with a few substitutions, as follows: I used the last pack of peanut butter crackers for some added protein and a glass of milk for vitamin content. Pleasantly surprised when served as dinner and the child woke up just as healthy in the morning. And brings back some good ole memories too!!! LOL
LOL... I didn't take it as a negative. I know every parent (mother/father/caregiver) hears he dreaded " I don't liiiiiiikkkkkeeeee itttt!! When we slave over a hot stove and cook a meal for their unappreciative little tummies (unappreciative until they get older and they have fine-tuned their pallettes after not giving in to their "short order cook" mentaltiy).
I say KUDDOS to you Blayke Humphrey for putting it out there like it is!! And YES ... I did use this recipe just yesterday! mmmmm-hhhhmmmm
This is great! Next time my son asks for a late snack and then doesn't eat dinner, this will be his next meal!
