I have made this recipe several times now and now that I have got the cooking time adjusted to my oven and my proximity to sea level They are coming out even better than the first time! For some reason they produce a wonderful uniform shape too. Definitely 5 stars.

Yorkshire pudding is one of my favorite comfort foods, so I'm always on the look-out for a good recipe. This is a solid five-star recipe!

John; This recipe turned out to be super-great. I used some real good lard, the Yorkies puffed up beautifully, left a good cavity and they were not greasy at all. Filled them with my No-Fat Mushroom Gravy and devoured 4 of them and 2 with some butter. Will have a hard time to decide which recipe to make, yours or mine. Thanks John for sharing. "Uncle Bill"

This recipe make very very good popovers!! Hadn't made them for quite a while, so we really enjoyed them, tried to get a photo while they were really high, but not so lucky lol. They were wonderful filled with gravy. Served with roast beef and mashed potato/rutabega, the popovers made the meal! Thanks for posting.
