My sister gave me this recipe years ago....don't know where it's from. The sides will puff up and fold inward. Can be easily doubled.
- Mix the first 4 ingredients together and blend well to break up any lumps from flour.
- Put the butter in an 9 x 9 x 2" baking dish and distribute evenly.
- Pour batter into the pan.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 35 minutes.
I can't believe this is the first time I've tried making Yorkshire Pudding. I chose this recipe for a contest on Zaar and it turned out great. I was skeptical about the melted butter in the pan. Is the pan supposed to hot like the other recipes or what, but I made it exactly as is with melted butter in a cold pan. Also I let the eggs and milk come to room temp. Will make this again. Thank you!
