Yogurt Tabasco Shrimp

- 1 1⁄2 lbs shrimp, cleaned
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
directions
- Rinse the shrimp and pat dry.
- Mix the yogurt, tobasco, garlic and spices.
- Add shrimp and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
- Heat oil in lg skillet.
- Add mushrooms; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add shrimp mixture and cook gently, stirring, until shrimp changes color, 2-3 minutes.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
