Yogurt Strawberry Sips

"Natural and yummy. Worth getting fresh strawberries. I started making this in college. I'm diabetic and so when every one else was snarfing bad for you stuff, I was slurping this. I'd take this over a candy bar any day."

  1. This was soo good. I like using the fresh strawberries because the thick consistancy stayed them same instead of getting watery as frozen ingredients melted. It has a very nice strwberry flavor with the right amount of sweetness. I didn't drink all of it, so I covered my glass with some plastic wrap and kept it in the fridge over night which worked out great, tasted exactly the same as the day before. Made for PAC spring 09.

  2. I used greek strawberry yogurt for this and added 2 Tbs milk to thin it out a little. DS and I both liked it, he said it tasted like the drinkable yogurts we buy. Will make again! Made for October 2011 Think Pink Event.

  3. I used non-fat vanilla yogurt, left out the vanilla extract and used half the brown sugar - delicious!!

  4. Loved it!! I used frozen strawberries which worked very well and I put some ice cubes in as well because I tend to like my smoothies a little more on the icy side. I am drinking it now and the only thing I am not totally thrilled with is the fact that it seems to be melting fast! Maybe it's the ice cubes?

  5. This was very delicious. I used fresh strawberries and brown sugar. What a lovely treat for breakfast this was. It was a nice change from frozen smoothies...I will be making this again often. Thanks for sharing....kato

Hi! I have enjoyed this forum long enough I thought I needed to get involved. I am first a mom. (Doesn't that about take up all the rest of the time?) I also work at my sons school part time. I used to teach but now I am an aide part time. No Homework!!! I still get out of the house and meet my kids friends, smile to smile. After teaching full time being an aide is heavenly.
