A cool and refreshing Middle Eastern sauce that you can serve on anything - meats, veggies, rice or potatoes. I particularly like to put it over kofte (Turkish meatballs) and rice.
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried mint, crushed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried dill, crushed
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Chill for at least one hour to let flavors blend.
I made this sauce to serve with Turkish Zucchini Fritters (#127269) and it was a huge hit at the table! Nice and light flavors and so easy to make. I see serving it again and again with many different dishes. Thanks Semra22 for a keeper sauce recipe!
