I have made this several times now and it is a hit with my family. I change it up and add other things like celery or bell peppers, it always turns out great!

This recipe was so easy to make. My family and I loved it. My 6 yr old had seconds! I didn't change anything except I used onion powder instead of chopped onion. Will definately be making this again! Thank you Nita!
Delicious! I don't think I will be trying another meat loaf recipe. Not only was the sauce tasty...I loved the little pieces of bread. However, I cut them a little bigger and just loved how the sauce gushes out! I will definitely double the recipe next time. Thank you for sharing!
This meatloaf is INCREDIBLE! The sauce is really what seals the deal. My family cleaned their plates. I followed the directions to a T and the only thing I will change next time is to double the recipe to make 2 loaves. Thanks Nita for sharing this fabulous recipe! UPDATE: Over 2 years now making this recipe and it is the only one I ever will. I now make not 1, not 2 but FOUR loaves so we can have meatloaf sandwiches for dinner the following night. This recipe has become such a family favorite that I wanted to let you know just how much I and my family appreciate you sharing it with us Nita! :) I still keep the recipe the same..if I am out of bread I use plain breadcrumbs and I always addd 2 cloves of garlic per loaf. Thanks again!
This is a wonderful meatloaf recipe. I made it gluten free by using gluten free bread crumbs I had. I didn't have whole milk so I used 3/4 cream and 1/4 skim milk. The meatloaf was not dry at all! I also sauteed the onion before I added it to the mixture, the onion flavor was mellow and I liked it better than using raw onions. My family didn't like the sauce, it was too sweet, even though I only used 2 tbsp brown sugar. We will definitely have this again!
