These sweet potatoes are easy to make in the slow cooker, which is a real time saver on holidays.
- 6 yams, peeled and cubed
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- Process remaining ingredients in food processor.
- Toss sugar mixture with potatoes. You may not need all the sugar mixture, so add it gradually until you think they are sweet enough. You can add more sugar and cinnamon as they cook if you think they need more seasoning.
- Cook in a slow cooker for 8-9 hours on low (180 deg. F).
