Served this at Christmas last year and my whole family loved them. Have been asked to make them for every family occasion since.
- Cook yams and mash.
- Blend with next 4 ingredients.
- Place in buttered casserole dish.
- Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on yams.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30- 40 minutes.
I made this 3 times within 6 months and also made it for Thanksgiving. It's good every time. Great recipe. Thank you!
Good recipe....but I added a few things that made it even better (according to my family's opinion that is). For the the regular sugar, I replaced with dark brown sugar. I added cinnamon, cloves, ginger and raisins. I have made it with pecans and with walnuts and they are both very tasty in this recipe. Yummmmmy....my family loves it!
Delicious!!! I wasn't sure what to expect with this recipe... but it turned out fantastic. My husband and son just gobbled this up. I replaced sugar with splenda, other than that, I wouldn't change anything!
