  1. Cook yams and mash.
  2. Blend with next 4 ingredients.
  3. Place in buttered casserole dish.
  4. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on yams.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30- 40 minutes.

Good recipe....but I added a few things that made it even better (according to my family's opinion that is). For the the regular sugar, I replaced with dark brown sugar. I added cinnamon, cloves, ginger and raisins. I have made it with pecans and with walnuts and they are both very tasty in this recipe. family loves it!

Delicious!!! I wasn't sure what to expect with this recipe... but it turned out fantastic. My husband and son just gobbled this up. I replaced sugar with splenda, other than that, I wouldn't change anything!
