I adore grapefruit freshness in drinks, alcohol or not, for it adds an element of surprise. For this one, agave syrup is the perfect sweetener. The black salt or sugar makes it fun. You can make that yourself. Might be a good one for Halloween.
- 1 1⁄2 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice
- 3⁄4 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3⁄4 ounce agave syrup
- 1 1⁄2 ounces agave tequila
- black salt or sugar
- Add all ingredients to a mixing tin. Add ice and shake well. Strain into chilled cocktail glass rimmed with black salt/sugar. Garnish with speared lemon spiral, if desired.
