This had excellent flavor and was easy to make. When I think of diet food, I tend to think of something bland. This was great and full of flavor. I didn't see any Italian-style stewed tomatoes at the store, so we used Italian-style chopped tomatoes. My tastes don't agree with most red wines so I used the beef broth suggestion. Thanks for the great recipe.

Thanks for a delicious recipe! I followed the recipe exactly, except for adding a dash of dried basil and dried oregano, since we really love herbs and spices!

We left out the wine, but we just thought this was "okay". We found it to be a little too bland or something... just something not quite right.

I made this the other day for my family and friends of my college kids. They loved it. I also kept off the wine in case of any allergies of guests. I did add garlic. I do not think I can cook without it.:)I will make this again! OH YES- I forgot to mention, I made it in the crockpot on low so the food simmered nicely and the chicken was melt in your mouth. I served over thin spagetti and this will return to my table very soon.

This was a decent weeknight meal. I too used chopped tomatoes; we added Italian seasoning. This was a little more soupy then we like and needed a bit more zing. But tasted good and was healthy. Thanks for a good dinner!

I also used italian style chopped tomatoes becuase i couldn't find italian stewed tomatoes. This turned out great, I really liked the easey cooking and the great taste that resulted. I also left out the green bell peppers since i have an allergy to them. I replaced with some thinly julliened carrots instead. Thanks for posting. :)
