Ww Sweet-Hot Marinated Cucumbers 0-Points

"Out of a WW cookbook called "In Season" dated 1999. The longer they marinate the hotter their flavor gets. This make-ahead salad transports well for all those outdoor Barbecues. Cooking time is chill time. Hope you enjoy!"

 1. I've been eating these since I was a kid and my mom made them. We always had them with with addition of thinly sliced onions and a sprinkling of celery seeds. The celery seeds add a lot of flavor. I make them in a big pickle jar I saved and they don't last long!

 2. Funny ... the cucumber doesn't look peeled????

 3. This is exactly the same taste that I was looking for. The recipe had a great taste and delicious and yummy.last Sunday i made Punjabi Yakhni Pulao Recipe from one of the best cooking wesite sharing a link with you: ( https://pakistanirecipespoint.wordpress.com/2017/08/29/punjabi-yakhni-pulao/ ).

 4. Wow, these cucumbers are really good. Delicious on a salad and no calories to speak of. Will have these in the fridge all the time.

 5. Wow - this is a great salad to set off a Weight Watcher meal. I used Splenda and I believe with that substitute it would be zero points on the new Points Plus program. I served it with hamburgers and it was a satisfactory way to omit the chips or fries. Thanks, Carole in Orlando

Tweaks

 1. I love cucumber salad! This is a great basic recipe. I make mine with rice wine vinegar and a few drops of toasted sesame oil, add some sliced sweet onions and top with sesame seeds before serving. I also substitute a non-sugar sweetener. I like stevia (Truvia).

 2. Substituted zucchini for cucumbers

 3. Excellent! I used liquid Splenda instead of sugar and reduced the amount of salt. I will be keeping these in my fridge at all times.

? Hi! My name is Teresa.? My husband and I like to take RV trips but it seems lately we just us it for vintage motorcross races. I enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, have done some rock climbing but age is creeping up on my poor old bones. Anything to do with the outdoors I enjoy, so why do I live in rainy Washington state? We have 2 wonderful children, both grown. My son lives in LA and my daughter and her husband recently moved back in the area with their little boy...our grandson... who just turned?5 years old. We have a granddaughter who lives close by...she just turned 23 this year. She's a sweetheart.? Life is good when you have a son and a?daughter and they?gift?you with a granddaughter and grandson. :)??
