    TeresaS's Note:

This is an outstanding dish. I always add some shrimp and mushrooms to the dish. I know the shimp adds more points but it is so worth it. Without the shrimp and mushrooms you get 7 points per serving. Serving size is 1 cup. Serve piping hot while it's creamiest. Happy eating.

I've been looking for a lower fat alfredo recipe, and now I have found it! This is terrific; my kids love it. Thanks so much.

This recipe is amazing! It is soooo decadently rich and creamy with great flavour, while also being reasonably healthy. YUM! :)
I made a few changes due to what I had on hand: I used a herb-infused butter, pasta with mushroom flavour and a herby cheese. Those really worked well with your recipe and everyone raved about the results!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this keeper with us, Teresa!

WARNING - this recipe is not 7 points. Unless I'm missing something, ww points calculators say it is 10 based on calories, fat and fiber. So, just know that going in so you don't go over like I did.
However, it is the single best alfredo recipe I've ever made, and the fact that it uses skim milk makes it so much cheaper and healthier than regular alfredo. We loved this recipe! Thanks for posting, and someone tell me if it is 7 for some reason.
      Thanks!
