Ww Chili Burgers

"We really enjoyed these and I used the leftover salsa in Recipe #341829 the next morning! We served these burgers with fruit salad for a great low fat/low cal dinner. If following the WW flex plan these burgers are 6 pts each (if using the reduced cal buns). I cooked the burgers under the broiler but the original recipe suggests using a grill or a grill pan. • Preheat broiler (see note in description) and spray broiler pan with Pam.

 1. These were amazing burgers! The flavor is wonderful and really pops! I did make a few changes because these are things I had on hand. I did not have chili powder but used a few sprinkles of ground red pepper. On the request of my DH, I used the other half of the onion in the salsa. These were even great warmed up the next day for lunch. Do be warned though, the texture of the meat mixture when forming the patties is VERY loose, but they stay together nicely when cooked. Thank you Ellie_, it is always nice to have a great amount of variety when doing WW.

I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!
