  1. I have made this several times now and it is always delicious!! I used fat free cream of celery soup and about 1 cup of macaroni for a double batch. Have also thrown in a drained can of cannellini beans.

  2. Like the other reviewers said, I was afraid that I would miss the noodles but I added so many cut up carrots and celery it was chunky and fulfilling! This soup was really tasty and I recommend it because it was so easy to make!

  3. Have been on the WW program for a # of months now and came across your recipe for this delicious chicken soup so decided to try it. Had it tonight for supper and it was really, really good. The only thing I added was some basil for a bit more flavour. Hubby will be having it tomorrow for his lunch so will see then if it passes his "taste test". As others have mentioned, you don't even miss the noodles or potato. Will definitely be making this soup more often. Many thanks for posting.

  4. Really tasty soup, really good for a low carb diet. We didn't misss the noodles or pasta either. I made it using chicken breast & broth that had previously cooked & had frozen. Then made the recipe as stated. Very good & easy, will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe!

  5. This soup is AWESOME!!! I thought that we would miss the noodles but now I see that they just get in the way of the good stuff. I crockpotted chicken breasts and shredded them. I measured out 20 oz.,skipped the celery since I was out,and added some garlic powder and pepper.I used baby carrots and they turned out perfect. I will be eating this alot. Thank you sooo much for posting!! :)

When I was 10 I discovered the joy of cooking on the back of a Nestle Toll house Chocolate Chip bag. It was the first recipe I ever made. I had a blast and it was a lot of fun to cook something that everyone loved. To this day, baking is one of my favorite things to do, and it shows! (that explains the lack of a picture, hehe) On the non-cooking front, I lead a fairly normal life. For the past four and half years I have been able to stay home with my DD and be a full time mom (is there any other kind?). In college I had a wonderful professor, Dr. Mark Woodhouse (his books are fascinating BTW) and I began my study of the paranormal, conspiracy theory, and metaphysics. I can honestly say it changed my life. I earned my degree in Philosophy with a minor in Religion and English. For those of you who are interested in Astrology, I am a Pisces Dragon. A great book (did I mention that I like to read a lot?) is The New Astrology by Suzanne White. She actually sums up my life very well when she says: "Pisceans born in Dragon years will be touchy and argumentative until they finally stop trying to prove themselves. Then they will become effecient in a chosen profession, stay in a pleasant rut, and cruise around all day dreaming about what to make for dinner."
