I have made this several times now and it is always delicious!! I used fat free cream of celery soup and about 1 cup of macaroni for a double batch. Have also thrown in a drained can of cannellini beans.
Like the other reviewers said, I was afraid that I would miss the noodles but I added so many cut up carrots and celery it was chunky and fulfilling! This soup was really tasty and I recommend it because it was so easy to make!
Have been on the WW program for a # of months now and came across your recipe for this delicious chicken soup so decided to try it. Had it tonight for supper and it was really, really good. The only thing I added was some basil for a bit more flavour. Hubby will be having it tomorrow for his lunch so will see then if it passes his "taste test". As others have mentioned, you don't even miss the noodles or potato. Will definitely be making this soup more often. Many thanks for posting.
Really tasty soup, really good for a low carb diet. We didn't misss the noodles or pasta either. I made it using chicken breast & broth that had previously cooked & had frozen. Then made the recipe as stated. Very good & easy, will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe!
This soup is AWESOME!!! I thought that we would miss the noodles but now I see that they just get in the way of the good stuff. I crockpotted chicken breasts and shredded them. I measured out 20 oz.,skipped the celery since I was out,and added some garlic powder and pepper.I used baby carrots and they turned out perfect. I will be eating this alot. Thank you sooo much for posting!! :)
Fairly tasty. I ate lunch off this recipe for several days last week. I especially like the idea of it being so-o-o low in calories.
