3-4 points (with Splenda 3, with sugar 4)
- 1 1⁄4 cups oatmeal
- 1⁄4 cup raisins
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups non-fat powdered milk
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 cup sugar or 1⁄4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Spoon out 4 big cookies on a baking sheet coated in Pam.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
These were HUGE!! And filling! Perfect for a Grab-N-Go breakfast. They were soft and had a very nice flavor. Initially it wasn't quite sweet enough so I did increase the splenda to 1/2 cup & added 1/4 tsp salt but other than that I followed the recipe. I was concerned that there was no liquid but it did just fine with the applesauce so no worries there. On the new WW PointPlus plan this is 7 PointPlus (or PPV) but still worth it because it's so filling & will hold you over for a few hours. Thanks! Tagged for Healthy Choices ABC Tag Game.
Excellent breakfast cookie. Very moist and pretty tasty! However, the Points values on them I think need to be re-examined...according to my recipe builder on WW online they're 5 points apiece. I'm okay with the extra points though b/c this has really kept me full! Thanks for posting! :)
My husband hated them, but he's pretty anti-healthy. My kids and I liked them ok. I would make them again if my husband isn't eating with us;)
