Thank you so much mariposa. I just started weight watchers and am having a hard time giving up all of my favorite snacks. (I'm a BIGTIME munchie person) But now I can have rice krispie treats...one of my all time favorites. I had to count my 2pts before I even cut them because I kept sneaking bites out of the pan...and then of course had to eat the stuff still stuck in the pan...and the stuff that stuck to my fingers as I was pressing them into the pan.....hmmm sticky stuff huh? Thanx again.
Beautiful. Not on;y were these a lot easier to make than I expected, they taste better than "real" Rice Crispies Treats, too. This may have something to do with the fact that I too used Fruity Pebbles. Next time (and believe me, there will be a next time) I'm using Cocoa Pebbles! Thanks so much Mariposa
These were a great snack. I made them with fruity pebbles, probably defeats the 2pts! Very tasty and loved the idea of no butter just the flavor. Thanks for a great recipe.
My daughter-in-law made this for Easter Sunday this year for the kids. She used the fruity flavored rice krispy's. Trying to watch my calories, I really enjoyed this also. You wouldn't even know that she had subbed the butter buds for margarine/butter. Thanks for sharing!
SUPER YUMMY! I didn't have Butter Buds, so I subbed a few spritzes of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray. Very tasty, I almost like them better than the traditional RK Treats...these are less soggy and you can taste more than just butter. The kids liked them, too. Will be making these often. Thanks for posting. P.S.--I wanted to thank you for posting all the WW recipes. I went through and saved a TON of them and look forward to trying and reviewing them all!
