Wrapped Weiner Appetizer

"These disappear fast. I make them and serve them straight from the crockpot. Sinful but delicious!"

• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 1 lb bacon (good brand)
• 1 lb hot dog
• 1 (1 lb) box brown sugar

directions

1. Cut bacon slices in half.
2. Cut wieners in quarters.
3. Wrap bacon around wieners and secure with toothpick.
4. Place in crock-pot and pour brown sugar over all.
5. Cook on high 3-4 hours or until bacon is brown.

way to much sugar....other than that ok....need another way to make this.

I was actually thinking of posting this one. We have enjoyed it for years. The only difference in my recipe, is that I add at least two tablespoons of dry mustard to the pot. Last time I made it, I mixed it all in an oven proof bowl, and started it there, to brown it up a little before switching it to the crockpot. Kids and grown-ups love this one.
