I used light cream cheese too. Delicious! Tastes so fresh. Much better than frozen spinach! Thanks for posting!

So creamy and fresh tasting. No slimy frozen spinach! I used reduced fat cream cheese and sour cream. The longer it chills, the better. I coarsley chopped the spinach. I loved that the fresh spinach maintains a "leafy" texture and does not get soggy. We enjoyed this with Wheat Thins, celery and baby carrots. I will make this again and I'd like to try this with ranch dressing mix. Thanx for posting!

This IS the world's best spinach dip!!! Why use frozen spinach???? This is a million times better and so pretty too. I also like that using fresh spinach will not water down your ingredients. I like to cut chiffonade so it was fun chopping the spinach too. I did sub regular stuff out of my spices for the onion soup mix. ( I don't like all the chemicals in mixes like that) I mixed in 1 tsp dried onion flakes, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 1/4 tsp cayenne. Jena, thanks so much for posting, this is fabulous!!!!!!! Will definitely make again and again!!!!!
