This is the perfect name for this recipe! It is the World's Best Fried Zucchini! This is the same recipe I grew up with and have been making ever since I have been married. I made this over the weekend and we enjoyed it so much. I have only one problem though, I eat the zucchini as soon as it is cooled enough to pick up and only half reaches the table! I guess the only solution is to make a double batch next time! :) Thank you, LauraLou for sharing this with us at Zaar!

I make this also, but it is done frying, I dust it with garlic powder and parmesan cheese. Very good.

Instead of a frying pan try a deep fat fryer. Also instead of just flour add equal parts of ground crackers, it gives it a nice crunch. Place the slices in the flour and crackers first then into the milk and egg wash, then back into the flour/cracker mix. Then place in deep fat fryer about 360 for about 7 minutes flipping them over halfway through. Place on paper towel and dip in ranch dressing. My family can't get enough if them.

I love fried zucchini! I made this for lunch today. I used a small zucchini sliced thin. This was really fast. Thanks for the recipe that I will be using all summer long.

I think everything tastes great when dipped in an egg/milk mix and coated in flour--zucchini especially. This was terrific and didn't take that long at all. I added a bit of garlic and herb powder to the mix for extra taste, and the zucchini fried very quickly with a lot of butter.

yum yum! These went fast at my house. I used margerine instead of butter (cheaper, but just as good in this case) and lemon pepper instead of plain pepper.

While this had wonderful taste, it took FOREVER to get done and used a ton of butter. I used 4 medium zucchini and still had lots of egg wash and flour leftover. Since I don't have an electric skillet, I used a stovetop fry pan. I used garlic salt. We enjoyed this but since it took so long, I won't be making it again.

Yes...i would suggest using at least one or two big, fat zucchinis for this recipe. They go soooo fast!!
