These were delicious. I have a hard time getting my son who is 2 to eat any vegetable. I couldn't stop him from eating these. He even ate a few of mine. I used panko crumbs and added garlic salt, cajun seasoning, plus onion salt and the parmesan cheese. Mine came out nice and crunchy.

These are even BETTER sliced thin and lengthwise on a mandolin, bread and deep fry. Serve with cocktail sauce!

My DH doesn't care for Zucchini but thought that these 'weren't bad'. High praise for a zuke hater :)<br/>I thought they were wonderful - I made them using cornflake crumbs with the Parmesan because that is what I had. I had no issues with the breading not adhering. I did add extra seasonings. I'm making them again tonight using Panko but will crush the Panko up a bit and add the seasonings to it. I could eat these all day long! Great recipe.

Loved this appetizer! We were short on the zucke's so I added some warted summer squash to the mix. Next time, I plan on adding some hot sauce to the egg wash like someone suggested (I like some zing). Definitely going into favorites cookbook!

These turned out great! I have been craving fried zucchini, this satisfied the craving without the guilt. I used panko crumbs and added some seasoned salted to the crumb mixture. I was hoping more of the crumbs would stick to the sticks, but after trying them there was enough on there to give it some crunch. Thanks for posting the recipe!

These were really good! My grandson could not stop eating them:) I don't buy seasoned bread crumbs as it is so quick & easy to make them fresh. You can add any combination or amount of seasonings you prefer. I used Cavender's Greek seasoning & as others have suggested I think a touch of hot sauce would make it even better!<br/>It is a very versatile recipe & I will make it often during the abundant zucchini season! Thanks for posting!

We did an extra step of putting in seasoned flour first shaking off excess then dipping in egg mixture then seasoned breadcrumbs but it didn't meet the expectation I have been craving.....maybe I just don't like baked ones and will try tempura next time
