Wonderful No-Bake Cookies

A somewhat unique twist on the traditional no-bake cookies recipe.

• Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients:

Serves: 24

Yield: 24.0 cookies

• ½ cup butter or ½ cup margarine
• 2 cups sugar
• ½ cup half-and-half cream or ½ cup cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄3; cup cocoa
• ½ cup peanut butter
• 2 ½ cups quick-cooking oatmeal
• 3 shredded wheat biscuits (big ones)

Directions:

1. In small saucepan, or microwaveable bowl, place butter, sugar, half & half and peanut butter.
2. Bring to a boil and and allow to boil for 1-2 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cocoa, oatmeal, and shredded wheat. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
4. Let cool.
