  1. I have been making meatloaf the same way for over 20 years. My kids could not believe that I would try a different recipe for it....But...I am so glad I did! This recipe is wonderful! As usual, I add a few touches of my own, I added garlic powder, and a little more cheese. My family said not to change anything it is perfect!

  2. Very good meatloaf and very different than I have ever tasted. I substituted the ketchup and brown sugar with 1/2 cup BBQ sauce and added a 1/4 tsp of Red Cayenne Pepper for a little spice. It was delectable. My wife and kids loved it.

  3. The best meatloaf this bachelor has ever eaten. Very good!

  4. I subsituted Mozzerella instead of the cheddar and added some more Ketchup to the loaf and it was superb! The BEST!

  5. Sorry, but I would consider this an average meat loaf and the glaze was far too sweet for our tastes.

Tweaks

  1. Very delicious meatloaf! I used seasoned salt instead of regular salt, and dried onion flakes for the chopped onion. I used a little less milk than it called for, and a half piece of bread more, and it came out perfect. Can't wait for cold meatloaf sandwiches tomorrow!

  2. Very tasty and moist. My family loved it. Used a small can of tomato paste instead of ketchup for topping. I also didn't add as much sugar and added a little salt to the topping too. Also added chopped green peppers and a little ketchup to meat before baking. I will make it again. Very flavorful.
