I just love recipes like this. My sink looks like new. So easy and effective without the chemicals. I didn't use the essential oil, but I think I'll try tea tree oil next time. Most cleaning products are such a waste of money. Thanks for posting this keeper of a recipe.

Unfortunately, I have a kitchen sink that never looks really clean (must be poor quality), but this made a big difference! It looks better than it has in ages. I will try and find essential oils because it would add a nice smell to the drain and the house. Thanks!

Wow! I was impressed. I just made the paste (didn't have any oils) and it really shined up my faucet in the kitchen. Going in the keeper file! Thanks.

I'm always aware of chemicals in our home especially as one of my daughters has eczma. I used this on the sink and it didn't make a big difference, I think because my sink is only six months old and I clean it often. But, I took the cleaner to the kids bathroom and wow, the bath cleaned up so well with just a soft cloth and this cleaner, and the stainless steel fittings are gleaming. I did not use the oils either, but may add some tea tree or eucalyptus oils to act as an anti-bacterial. Thanks for sharing.

I love making my own cleaning products and this one was one of the first I tried out 2 years ago. I threw out all my commercial cleaning products and my house now smells so much "fresher" without all those chemicals under the sink. I now only keep a bottle of white vinegar, a few boxes of baking soda, borax, a bottle of window cleaner ( made with vinegar) sponges and trash bags under there. This sink scrub also works wonders on the shower stall and tub as it does not scratch the surfaces...like some other products. I love to mix and match essential oils also... one of my favorites is lemon and lime! Thanks for sharing!!!

Just used this on my kitchen sink . Amazing ! My sink actually glows. Used tea tree oil as that is what I had, and my whole kitchen has a wonderful clean smell about it now that is not overpowering. Definitely a keeper !

Thank you for this simple yet wonderful 'recipe'. I used it this afternoon on my kitchen sinks and draining board and I don't think I've seen it sparkle like this since we first moved into our house (and it smells great too)!! :-) Will definitely be using this again. Thanks!

What a wonderful natural cleaner. I didn't have any essential oils to add. Admittedly, I haven't wiped down the kitchen sink in awhile so it was getting a little scummy. Now, it's sparkling!

This is such a fantastic idea for cleaning! The ingredients are environment, pet and kid friendly (not to mention inexpensive!). I find I can use this to clean so many things and don't need all of the store bought cleaners that clutter up my cabinets. The option to mix in different oils is great, too! Thanks so much for sharing! You've changed certainly changed and simplified cleaning in my house.

I can't believe how good this smells. I got essential oils from the Body Shop. I used Satsuma cause it's orange. And lemon. The result is amazing. I'll give this recipe to everyone I know. I'll buy them essential oils loll Thanks for the recipe :)

The BEST part about this is having the option of what fragrance to use. I tried "honeysuckle" oil which makes my kitchen smell like summer breezes! My stainless steel sink didn't look much different (it has that nice "used" patina), but now the sponge is fresh, the house smells good, and I have a clean sink on top of all that. Non-toxic for our gray-water drywell, too! Whooeee!! I popped the little sink drain strainers in the dishwasher, so they will be fresh-as-a-daisy too. Happy house-cleaning!

This is fabulous! I use orange and litsea oils, and it smells fabulous. Not just for sinks, it works wonders on counters and tubs/showers also! Thanks for sharing what has become our household cleaner.

No essential oils in the house, but I would add them if I had them. I used it on a white sink, took the coffee stains right out of it. Not just for stainless steel sinks.

I didn't add the essential oils either. This works as well as anything else I've tried and without harsh chemicals. Best of all--it's economical!

Great stuff! Anything that I have bought in the stores in the past pale in comparison! I did not have the oils either, but I was rather excited to try this inexpensive tip. I haven't been disappointed so far! I can't wait to get the oils as I'm sure they add so much to the kitchen! Thanx for sharing!

A good old-fashioned remedy that worked great! I didn't have the essential oils so I just mixed without and rubbed my coffee pot with a soft cloth. It looks brand new again!!
