Dissolves in your mouth & if you like chocolate stay away! I was asked if it goes soggy after a few days & I can honestly say it has never happened to me but my guess would be that the rice krispies would absorb the liquid from the chocolate then get soggy
- 1⁄4 cup margarine
- 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1⁄4 corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups icing sugar
- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- Put margarine, chocolate, syrup and vanilla in a large sauce pan.
- Cook over vry low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Mix in sugar.
- Pour over Rice Krispies.
- Press into a buttered (or spray with a vegetable spray) 8x8x2-inch pan.
When I saw this I knew my hubby would love it. His favorite candy bar is Nestles Crunch! This is very close to that candy bar. It was really good! Very easy to make. I will keep this handy for Christmas! Thanks!
Terrific! I made it even more decadent by topping it all with a 2nd layer of the chocolate without the Krispies for an extra thick Chocoholic's dream.
