"Dissolves in your mouth & if you like chocolate stay away! I was asked if it goes soggy after a few days & I can honestly say it has never happened to me but my guess would be that the rice krispies would absorb the liquid from the chocolate then get soggy"

  • Put margarine, chocolate, syrup and vanilla in a large sauce pan.
  • Cook over vry low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Mix in sugar.
  • Pour over Rice Krispies.
  • Press into a buttered (or spray with a vegetable spray) 8x8x2-inch pan.

  1. When I saw this I knew my hubby would love it. His favorite candy bar is Nestles Crunch! This is very close to that candy bar. It was really good! Very easy to make. I will keep this handy for Christmas! Thanks!
     
  2. Terrific! I made it even more decadent by topping it all with a 2nd layer of the chocolate without the Krispies for an extra thick Chocoholic's dream.

My DH & i moved closer to where he works, next door to his parents so we are there to help them when they get older. I like to cook experiment with foods, so i will have more time for this. I really do like this site & the support we get from friends we do not know.
