A quick toss and a surprising medley of tastes.
- 1 (10 ounce) packageeuropean style mixed salad greens
- 1 granny smith apple, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces blue cheese
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, coarse
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- 1⁄4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Combine salad mix, apple slices and chopped walnuts.
- Whisk together oil and vinegar; season to taste.
- Toss everything lightly and serve immediately.
