This calls for marinating the meat instead of the browning process. Saves time, but feel free to use preference. Passive time includes marinating.

Very enjoyable. I did halve the mushrooms, and other than that made as directed. The Italian dressing added a nice, different, but wonderful flavor to this. Had a side ready to go, but this definately is a meal for a family of 4, that can be served by itself. Tagged and made for PRMR~Tag.

Wonderful beef stew! I used baby portabella mushrooms, yukon gold potatoes, and petite diced tomatoes instead of stewed since that was what I had on hand. Liked the flavor of the stew meat after marinating in the italian dressing. A bit of zing but not as heavy as adding italian seasoning. The stew smelled very good while cooking and we couldnt wait to eat. Served with some dark pumpernickel bread and a big spoon! :) Made and reviewed for KK's Recipe Tag Game.

Yum! How comforting on a cold and rainy day. I made this as directed except that I halved the recipe and added lots of pepper. It was even better the next day. Thanks Coffee for another keeper. Made for Photo Tag.
