I scaled this recipe to half to use up a bit of wild rice I had leftover from making a salad yesterday. These were really lovely, with a good chew. Served with warm maple syrup.

  1. Sift dry ingredients.
  2. Beat egg, milk and sour cream in another bowl and pour into dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  3. Add butter and milk (a little at a time until proper consistency).
  4. Drop batter by tablespoons onto preheated, lightly-greased griddle.
