I scaled this recipe down for 1 avocado. I love cilantro, but didn't have any so left that out. I had it on 9-grain toast and it was so yummy! Thanks Mark!

This is the best guacamole I have ever tasted and so easy to make! I did not add the peppers and I did add the cilantro. It is perfect!

Took this gem camping, had it coolered for several days and it was a huge hit. Easy to make and wonderful flavor, I like the lime better than lemon.

(First time -- 4 stars) This is a nice guacamole recipe. I made it according to the recipe, including cilantro (I think that should be required) and excluding peppers. It was yummy and easy to make. I served it as a taco topping or as a dip for tortilla chips. (Second time -- 5 stars) I made this a second time including the jalapenos and 1 T chopped black olives. Wow! Those jalapenos made a great difference. Took it to a pot luck with chips and overheard nice comments like, 'This is all I'm going to eat tonight'. So...if you make this, be sure to include the jalapenos and cilantro. (And adding some chopped black olives are pretty good too.) Also, don't be shy with the salt.

If I could have only one food for the rest of my life, this might be it(with some tortilla chips, of course!). This is THE BEST!

This was a huge hit! I did it just as the recipe described and used a chopped jalapeno. This was gone in the first 30 minutes so I guess I need to make more next time. Thanks for sharing!

This was very nice. I halved the recipe. It was quick to make. Good and fresh-tasting, but nobody was super-excited about it. I didn't have any peppers on hand, but I'd definitely be sure to get jalapeno if I decide to make this again because I think it needs it and I'd double the garlic and maybe add a little oregano for my family's tastes. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome guac! Always the hit of the party. The best touch is the garlic.

This is the best guacamole I have ever tried!! It was super easy to make and has an awesome taste. We use this with pretty much every mexican dish we make, from quesadillas to chimichangas. It's also great just as a tortilla chip dip!! Thanks.

This is how I learned to make Guacamole on a trip to SanteFe, New Mexico. Love it! My only thing to add is I always use Kosher salt and do quite a bit of taste testing because you need just the right amount of salt - too little and it's not right. Lime juice is the only way to go.

This so reminds me of Guacamole I had in Texas !! Fresh simple ingredients, not a lot of stuff masking the flavor !! I loved it ! Thankyou so much for the memories! Also the great recipe!

wow! this really tastes great! The only thing i was dissappointed about was the color. Mine turned out yellow and it actually looked pretty gross. Other than that I loved it. Just the right amount of spice! Thanks!

MMMMM! This was so delicious. My only regret was that I didn't buy more avocados to make the full recipe (I halved it). But even with just half of it the guacamole was still green and fresh on the 3rd day of leftovers (I also left the pits in the mix). I loved opening the fridge and smelling the fresh guacamole. Thanks for this keeper!

Great guacamole recipe. The only thing is that the avacado have to be good and ripe otherwise it just doesn't work. I could it eat all by myself!!

What a great story, and what fantabulous guacamole! This will be the only recipe for guac I use from now on. I made it chunky, and it was soooo delicious! Thanks for sharing!
