I also made these into rolls. Instead of adding the sesame seeds to the dough I garnished them on top of the rolls- which were egg washed. If you're looking for a pronounced peanut butter taste this won't work for you. The rolls worked beautifully as soup dunkers and I will be making this recipe again soon! First let me say that I was a bit concerned about only 1 tsp of yeast in a whole wheat loaf so I used 1 1/2 tsps of newly opened yeast. I'm glad that I did that because it turned out very well. I used crunchy pb that is made with nothing other than peanuts from our new natural foods store. My "butter" was heart healthy margarine and I didn't have sesame so I used poppy seed. I made it into rolls because I seldom can use a loaf of bread before it goes off. The buns I can pull out of the freezer and micro as wanted. This really has an interesting flavor. The pb isn't as pronounced as I had expected and I think that there are those who will prefer it with sweetening added (I would recommend honey if you want it sweet). The texture is very nice indeed with an almost crisp crust and a lovely light interior. Thanks for posting it Mike. Made for Photo Tag.
