Simple, dairy, and partly-healthy (to assuage the guilt!). This recipe can be doubled, tripled, quadrupled, etc. and you can add chocolate chips to the batter, etc. Thanks to my friend Michal for this recipe.
- 236.59 ml milk
- 236.59 ml whole wheat cake flour
- 1 egg
- 4.92 ml baking powder
- 2.46 ml salt
- 14.79 ml vanilla sugar
- 29.58 ml sugar
- 14.79 ml canola oil (for frying)
- Mix milk, egg, and flour together, then add remaining ingredients while mixing constantly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat and fry until there are bubbles in the batter. Flip and fry just until lightly browned, usually about a minute.
