Very good. Is great toasted with a little honey goat cheese or cream cheese. Not what I expected from a quick bread. The batter is very light and makes more of a heavy yeast bread texture. Made little loaves for freezing and gave some to neighbors who said theirs was lovely with roasted pork.

This was really delicious, bot too sweet, but refreshing because of the orange. I used grated apples (fresh, raw applesauce) instead of the oil to cut some calories. I Also baked them in 4 ramekins and 6 muffin cups because I didn't have a loaf pan. I think 30 minutes was a little too much but it was still good, so adjust accordingly. The topping was a great addition and not overly fattening. Thanks for the great recipe, this is a keeper!

BEAUTIFUL LOAF, easy to prepare, tastiest sweet bread I've found. Will use again and again with orange butter spread. Using for party this afternoon. THANKS FOR A 4 THUMBS UP RECIPE.

So-so bread. My kids turned their noses up at it and they're usually just fine with all the whole wheat stuff I feed them. Won't be keeping this one. Sorry!

This was wonderful! I used all whole wheat pastry flour and milled cane sugar instead of regular white. I omitted the nuts and used a little less orange zest because my orange was not cooperating and I got frustrated! We had it for dessert with a smidge of butter and the kids loved it too. I will definitely make again (maybe tomorrow!).

This is a tasty, very pretty snack bread, or really something more approaching a coffee cake (perfect with a cup of Darjeeling tea in my opinion). My husband and a breakfast guest enjoyed it as well. I used 1 TBS orange zest and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts; 3/4 cup fresh orange juice equalled the juice of two oranges. I baked this in a long narrow loaf pan; it was done in around 50 minutes, so watch baking time depending on the size of your pan.
