- 2⁄3 cup flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 cup ground flax seeds
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1⁄4 cup Egg Beaters egg substitute
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 4 tablespoons melted margarine
- Mix dry ingredients, except whole wheat flour.
- Add whole wheat flour.
- Beat egg beaters, milk and shortening together.
- Stir into dry ingredients just enough to dampen.
- Bake 400F 15-18 mins.
