I hate to give this effort such a low rating, but these did not work for me. Other than cutting the recipe in half - there were only 2 of us eating hamburgers - I followed the instructions exactly. It seemed they were not as should be, but I cooked them in hopes they would turn out. After cooking, they turned quite hard after a few minutes out of the oven. They really seemed more biscuit-like than hamburger bun-ish.
I made these tonight and both DH and I thought they were awesome. I did use whole wheat bread flour(hard to find) and I added just a bit of ground flax seed to make it even healthier. I don't have a mixer right now so I mixed by hand until it became too hard and then gently kneaded the rest of the flour in.
