One of my favorite pizza dough recipes. We like to divide up the dough and have "make your own pizza" night.

  1. Throw all ingredients into your bread machine and run the dough cycle.
  2. Divide dough into 2 pieces and roll into a rectangle or a circle.
  3. Let rise for up to 30 mins or top immediately with desired toppings.
  4. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until desired doneness.

I worried about the fact that this dough didn't have any sugar in it, that it might not rise well. It looked great coming out of the bread machine. I rolled it out nice and thin then let it rise another 20 minutes. It continued to rise when I pre-baked it so it ended-up a little too thick for my tastes, but the boys loved it. I did think it lacked flavor. Might try adding some Italian seasoning, rosemary, and/or garlic powder next time. I also wish it was all wheat flour.

This was good but I think I could get more than 2 pizzas next time as I like such a thin base. It worked well and tasted great but my 2 bases were a little too thick for my personal preference and hence a baby bit doughy in the middle. I am keen to do this again as it is so quick and much nicer than pre bought bases.
