Yummy and easy, even for this bread machine novice. I just dumped all of the ingredients into my bread machine (didn't have gluten, though), and selected the whole wheat setting. Thanks!

We really liked this Whole Wheat Bread. I used the Bread Machine on the regular cycle to make the dough/ rise. After the rise cycle was done, I shaped dough into a nice loaf and sliced the top of the dough with a knife about 1/2 inch deep. This gave it a really nice look. Then I put it in a warm pre-heated 200 degree oven (turned off) on a silicone baking sheet to rise again for about 1 hour. Then I baked it at 350 for 35 min. Followed the recipe exactly except I didn't use the optional gluted because I didn't have any. Next time I will try the gluten to see if there is any difference. Thanks Sccs-89 for the recipe

I used littlehibault's cooking method because I wanted a longer loaf instead of the square boxy loaf my bread machine makes. My bread was very done by 30 minutes though. Next time (because I will definitely make this many many more times) I am going to add a little more Splenda (I substituted it for the sugar), decrease the flour just slightly, and decrease the cooking time just a little or maybe the oven temp. Thanks for posting! I enjoyed it!
