This bread was so awesome! Wish I could rate it higher, very moist and best of all packed with good stuff! I skipped the raisins and just added the chocolate chips (mini) a little bit more than 1/4 cup to make up for the raisins. This is such a nice change from the random recipes out there, and it's all good for you! Obrigada (thank you in portugese) Chef Glauca for sharing a great one! =) This is a must try!
Great recipe! I added 1/4 cup of buckwheat flour; omitted the choc chips; used coconut butter and 1/2 cup rice malt syrup instead of the sugar.
Finally! A banana bread recipe with all whole wheat flour. I used walnuts instead of the chocolate chips and raisins. It was great!
This is quite moist for being low fat. I used Splenda for half of the sugar, and added the chocolate chips, but no raisins. I like the texture the flax seed meal gives it. Made for PAC Fall 2007.
Hi Glaucia: I substituted gluten free baking flour for the whole wheat flour and guess what, I've got the BEST GLUTEN FREE banana bread ever..........My 15 month old toddler LOVES this bread, it is so healthy and delicious. I'm hooked.
