My first attempt with a brand new bread machine, and it turned out delicious, and rose perfectly. (An absolute miracle considering I forgot to add both the sugar and salt for the first kneading cycle - luckily I was able to sneak them both in at the start of the second kneading cycle and save the loaf!)
Will definitely make again!

I have made this recipe 4-5 times now and love it! I follow the recipe exactly and it turns out wonderfully in my bread machine. I do use the whole wheat setting and medium/dark crust as that is what I prefer. I also like to sprinkle oats and sunflower seeds on the top as it rises, before it bakes. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. I made this bread yesterday and it was perfect. I actually used 1.5 cups of white flour and 1 cup wheat...just to test. Next time I'll do more wheat. It'll be my regular bread! :)people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are.
