  • 2 slices multigrain bread
  • 2 ounces grafton reserve cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon whole grain mustard
  • 12 mcintosh apple, very thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened


  1. Spread one slice of bread with mustard and arrange apple slices on top.
  2. Add cheese and top with bread. Spread butter outside both slices.
  3. Place sandwich on a skillet over medium high heat and brown each side until golden and cheese in center has melted.
