- Boil sugar and water together in a 6 quart or larger pot for 5 minutes.
- Add cranberries.
- Boil, without stirring until skins burst.
- Ladle boiling hot mixture into clean, hot jars, leaving 1/2 inch head space.
- Process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes at altitudes up to 1000 feet.
- Any higher and you must adjust processing times.
- This recipe makes ABOUT 6 pints.
