Some of us in the Portugal/Spain are reviewing a selection of Sangria recipes head to head. Today I have two recipes with similar ingredients so while all the limes and oranges are cut up and the wine is open, I made a small half jug of each to do a comparison test. I'm unused to white sangria, only having tasted red before today so this was a new taste experience. I think that this recipe, with the addition of tripple sec has the edge because the flavours seemed to blend together just a little bit more, and this one was slighly less tart becuase I didn't squeeze in any additional lime juice. Please see my rating system: a lovely 4 stars for a very drinkable sangria, but that said, I am still looking for the recipe with the wow factor so my Sangria adventure continues. Thanks!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
