First time ever to make gravy! This is a very simple and tasty white gravy recipe. The kids (and wife) loved it. Will put in my fav's recipe.


  1. In a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter.
  2. Stir in flour until well blended.
  3. Add milk, stirring well.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer and stir constantly for about 4-5 minutes until gravy is thick and bubbly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm.
