After trying a similar coffee at a coffee shop. I tried to find a white chocolate syrup or white chocolate sauce but could not find any so I decided to come up with my own version and here it is.

Directions

  1. Add milk and chocolate chips to saucepan and heat until chips are melted.
  2. Meanwhile make coffee in espresso machine.
  3. Pour half of milk mixture in coffee mug and fill rest of mug with coffee saving enough room for a dollop of whipped cream.
  4. Enough for 2 mugs.

Delicious! I love mocha coffees, especially Iced Mocha Lattes from DD's. However, sometimes I just want to have a coffee at home and chocolate syrup doesn't cut it. This recipe is really, really good. It makes A LOT so I halved it to be able to fit in a container I had. Some reviews mentioned its very thin, which is the case, so the only alteration I made to the recipe was to add cornstarch to the mixture until it thickened to my desired viscosity.

Wonderful, I too have been a long time lover of White Chocolate Mocha's, although our local coffee shops versions instead of Starbucks, being in rural Kansas there isn't a Starbucks for 100 miles, and now I have the perfect recipe for making my own at home!! Thanks!!
