White Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients:

Servings: 4

• 6 ounces white chocolate, chopped
• 1/3 cup whipping cream
• 2 tablespoons brandy or 2 tablespoons rum

Directions:

1. In a small heavy saucepan, mix chocolate with cream.
2. Heat on low, stirring constantly, until chocolate is barely melted.
3. Remove from heat; stir in brandy.
4. Serve immediately with strawberries or any other fruit that will dip.

Yum! This fondue was a hit at our family New Year's party. Went quickly with fruit. Our favorite dippers were strawberries and bananas. We also used pineapple, apples, pretzels, and pound cake.

Yum! We had fondue night for Valentine's Day and this was a family favorite. Used Ghiradelli white chocolate, the kind in bars, and 1/2 t rum extract instead of brandy or rum. For dippers, used biscotti, pound cake cubes, frozen cheesecake cubes, whole strawberries, fresh pineapple chunks, banana, apple slices, marshmallows, vanilla wafers, and honey wheat pretzels. Made and served in a mini dip sized crockpot. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

i didn't have any rum and didn't want to buy some just to put in this, so i just used rum flavoring. we served this with pretzels, strawberries, marshmallows, and pound cake. yum!
