White Chocolate Brownies

I was very excited to try this recipe for my husband who doesn't care for regular chocolate...unfortunately...the filling never cooked. I'm not sure what happened, but I think it needed more flour in the recipe or something. I'll try it again another time. Sounds like it would be delicious.

  1. Melt chocolate over warm water.
  2. Melt butter.
  3. Let both cool.
  4. Beat eggs and sugar together.
  5. Stir in almond extract, chocolate and butter.
  6. Fold in flour, salt and walnuts.
  7. Blend thoroughly.
  8. Pour into a buttered 12 x 18-inch baking pan and bake in a preheated 325 degrees oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Cool and cut into squares.
